A Ghostly Portrait

A Ghostly Portrait

(The photo below is of my Mom. She really doesn't look this old. I used textures to give her an aged and ghostly appearance.)

I recently came across a tutorial by Wendy VonSosen Photography, titled (Before & After) How to create a Ghostly Portrait in Photoshop.

I instantly knew I wanted to give this a try.  I went to the Salvation Army and found a beautiful dress (and it still had the tags!)  I then cohearsed my mom, and my daughter to be my models.  The following photo's are the results.

I also found that during this process, I was able to create some truely beautiful images of my mother and daughter that will become family treasures.

You can find the tutorial at http://www.iheartfaces.com/2012/10/creating-ghostly-portraits-in-photoshop/

Wow! Those are really awesome! I don't know why you ever stopped taking pictures but you have evidently proven that it is like riding a bicycle! I love the shot of Aunt Deb close up looking down. I think when we go to replace my laptop we should also see about the updated version of photo shop. You make it look fun!
