Remember the Titanic

I don't think I have ever been as excited about my daughter's Halloween costume as I am this year.

A couple of years ago we went on a trip to Mystic, CT and visited the aquarium.  It

was here that my daughter developed a deep love for anything having to do with the Titanic.  They had a wonderful display called Titanic - 12,450 Feet Below.

We are fortunate enough to live in an area rich with antique shops and consignment stores that are only a short drive away.  The dress came from Mathew's Place in Boonville.  The umbrella is from Westmoreland Antique Center, the hat is from Newport Marketplace, the suitcase is from Little Falls Antique Center, and her ring is from Cool Stuff Consignment in Kirkland, NY.   We had so much fun traveling to all these wonderful shops and the joy on her face when the costume was complete was heart melting.  Its a wonderful tribute to the passengers on the fateful trip over 100 years ago.
