I can't believe I got so behind on this project.
The last 9 weeks have been full of canning and freezing for the winter months and preparing for my annual vendor fair. I opened my Etsy Shop, My Story Creations. My dad finished up my kitchen cabinets, so the kitchen is close to being finished. My daughter started rehearsals for this years Nutcracker performance, and of course I've been plenty busy with fall sessions and preparing my annual Christmas mini's.
I am so excited that I have almost completed this project and have been able to get a photo every week even if I haven't had time to post them in a timely manner.
Week 36: FamilyI love this quiet moment that was captured of my Mom and daughter. I remember snuggles like this with my picture books. Week 36: Family
Week 37: HalfThis photo makes me smile everytime I see it. Meet Daisy and her crazy way of napping. Week 37: Half
Week 38: Shoot From the HipShooting from the hip is a technique that is used mostly for street photography. It's when you use a wide angle lens and photograph without lifting your camera. This allows you to photograph without being noticed. This shot was taken at the Fly Creek Cider Mill. Week 38: Shoot from the Hip
Week 39: StreetI am by no means a street photographer, but I love images of local landmarks. This is a quick shot of the Capitol Theatre in Rome. We spend a lot of time here and this old building is one of my favorites in the city. Week 39: Street
Week 40: ScaryWhile my daughter was at dance on a Friday night, I walked down to Fort Stanwix National Monument for the Mysteries, Myths, & Mayhem tour. It was so much fun hearing scary stories passed down from Revolutionary War times. Week 40: Scary
Week 41: OrangeThe country side is a blaze in orange. I think this is my favorite time of year. Week 41: Orange
Week 42: AnimalI came across this rebel while driving to Lowville after church on Sunday. After posing for this shot he took off down road. I hope his owners caught him before he went to far, Week 42: Animal
Week 43: NumbersIf it wasn't for this weeks theme, I never would have taken this shot. My first instinct was to move in and capture the building and trees, but I love how this turned out with the wire fence and house number. Week 43: Numbers
Week 44: NatureMy daughter and I decided to do a little hiking on one of the few dry days we've had. I love that we have such beautiful places so close to home. Week 44: Nature
